Next episode of the blues workshop series happening “sem tam” (from time to time) in Brno You can look forward to another small weekend event with parties and workshops led by interesting local and foreign teachers.
This time we prepared for you a couple and solo classes with Hamed and Kristy.

- 20:00 – 4:00 – Party with No Wankers in the Jazz Bar At The Smoking Rabbit
TEACHERS
Hamed
Hamed’s dance life started long before he started blues & Swing dancing. In his classes he likes to focus on playfulness, self expression, blues aesthetic and connection. He strongly believes that you’re a dancer first and within partner dancing share your movement and feelings with your partner to create a wonderful movement conversation together and to the music. Expect fun classes, full of nerdy talks on connection techniques and finding your blues voice in dancing.
Kiki
Kiki started dancing Lindy Hop in 2017. She was visiting local and international Swing festivals every year. But when pandemic came and she was isolated in her hometown unable to dance, she discovered Blues music and fall in love immediately. She started exploring solo Blues dancing, self-awareness and body movement in general, mostly selftought through videos and experimenting, later at international festivals. While ago she moved into Brno, where she joined local swing school Swing Wings. She would describe herself as social dancer since she is learning mostly on social dance floor. For Kristýna there are not several seperated dances, but just one, in which you can connect all together and show your authentic self. Her priority is to spread love and passion for Blues music, dance and its cultural context.

The Half is swing and blues band from Brno full of funny people and musicians. We have ready for you spicy blues songs with the spiciest piano/hammond player Petr Svoboda as a special guest!

Terms and Conditions
We recommend that you register for partnered classes with a partner. Those who sign up solo are waiting on the waiting list to be paired with a participant of the opposite role. You can use our facebook event to find a partner.
We cannot refund the ticket price. If you cannot attend, please offer your place in the facebook event or local groups. In the event of a change of participant, please contact us at pilot@swingwings.cz. At the same address, we will be happy to confirm whether the seller actually owns the given ticket.
If we do not have an available spot, you will be added to the waiting list. This can happen if the pass you have applied for is fully booked or if there is a large imbalance between leaders and followers in the workshop.
