Next episode of the blues workshop series happening “sem tam” (from time to time) in Brno You can look forward to another small weekend event with parties and workshops led by interesting local and foreign teachers.
This time we prepared for you a couple and solo classes with Ania, Misa and Terka.

- 20:00 – 4:00 – Party with the Rene Trossman Quartet in Music Lab
TEACHERS
Ania
Ania has been dancing lindy hop for over 10 years, and it wasn’t long after that she first encountered blues. It took her some time to truly connect with the style—but when she rediscovered it a few years ago, she fell for it completely. She especially loves the solo aspect of blues, where she finds endless room for creativity and self-expression.
Ania is constantly learning, attending workshops with top-level international instructors, and she’s passionate about sharing the joy of dance with others. For her, dancing is all about being in tune—with the music, with your partner, and with yourself. She’s especially interested in the quality and intention behind every movement, and brings that focus into both her dancing and teaching.
Misa
“A friend once dragged me to a weekend dance event, saying he was looking for a partner. I said yes — and it turned into a love for life! That ‘once’ was back in 2018, and that love at first sight was blues dance.”
Since then, Míša has traveled to blues festivals across Europe, contributed to organizing events with the Bluesin’ Prague community, and taken part in courses of various other dances and movement practices (from contact improvisation to tango, from yoga to shibari). But blues remains closest to her heart. She continues to be fascinated by its depth and variety, improvisation, intimacy, playfulness, and accessibility.
Terka
Terka first encountered blues 15 years ago as a lindy hop dancer in Herräng. A few swing-outs later, she took her first blues class with Mája and Šárka in Prague — and then hung up her dancing shoes for several years. She returned to the dance floor three years ago, and since then, her heart beats exclusively to the rhythm of blues.
Teaching somehow happened to her along the way, and it’s still a huge — though beautiful — challenge.

Terms and Conditions
We recommend that you register for partnered classes with a partner. Those who sign up solo are waiting on the waiting list to be paired with a participant of the opposite role. You can use our facebook event to find a partner.
We cannot refund the ticket price. If you cannot attend, please offer your place in the facebook event or local groups. In the event of a change of participant, please contact us at pilot@swingwings.cz. At the same address, we will be happy to confirm whether the seller actually owns the given ticket.
If we do not have an available spot, you will be added to the waiting list. This can happen if the pass you have applied for is fully booked or if there is a large imbalance between leaders and followers in the workshop.
